Ladera Ranch is a pristine master planned community nestled in the rolling hills of South Orange County, it is bordered by Mission Viejo, San Juan Capistrano, and Rancho Santa Margarita. Ladera, as it is commonly referred to by locals is one of Orange County's newest communities that will eventually provide over 8,100 residences at total build-out. The current population is just over 23,000 and is expected to grow to over 29,000 residents upon completetion.

The construction of the community began in 1999 on portions of the O'Neil, Avery and Moiso family's 23,000 acre Rancho Mission Viejo cattle ranch which is the largest remaining working ranch in OC. The heritage of the Rancho Mission Viejo, Orange County and Southern California is reflected throughout Ladera Ranch with an eclectic mix of authentic architectural styles including: Craftsman, Cottage, Colonial, California Ranch, English Cottage, Monterey, American Farm, Prairie, Tradional and Italianate.
